SOLICITORS
Bring the property work into one clear brief.
We help solicitors arrange the practical work of clearing a property and dealing with its contents. An agreed brief gives everyone a clear understanding of what is included, what must be retained and who can authorise any changes.
Instructions, scope and access
Provide the property details, the authorised contact and an outline of the work. We can discuss keyholder arrangements, retained contents, any restricted areas and the intended timetable before preparing the clearance quote.
Document searches and retained papers
Where paperwork needs locating, agree the search before removal of the relevant contents. Specify the document types, the areas to examine and the person authorised to receive the findings. Papers identified for retention are kept separate from items marked for clearance.
Document search arrangementsContents with possible resale value
HCP Auctions can consider suitable contents for appraisal, auction sale or direct purchase. We can discuss those arrangements alongside the clearance. Let us know separately if a formal valuation is required, so the appropriate next step can be established.
Agree the handover requirements
Tell us about requested photographs, item lists or completion information when the job is scoped. Cleaning, refurbishment and garden tidying can also be discussed if the estate needs the property prepared for its next stage. Scope, cost and timing are agreed for the work required.
