Some work belongs before the clearance; other work follows it. Document searches should be arranged while the relevant contents are still in place. Cleaning, refurbishment and garden tidying can then be planned around the condition the property needs to reach.
Post-clearance cleaning
Once the agreed contents have been removed, we can arrange the cleaning needed for the home’s next use. Discuss kitchens, bathrooms, floors and accessible surfaces, together with any particular areas of concern. The level of cleaning and the finish required are agreed and quoted as part of the brief.

Refurbishment and property preparation
If a property needs more attention, talk to us about refurbishment before agreeing the clearance timetable. Redecoration, repairs and room refreshes can be discussed in relation to the intended use of the home. We agree the appropriate work, arrangements, finish and quote before it begins.

Garden tidying
Outside spaces can need attention while a property is unoccupied or being prepared for its next stage. We can discuss grass cutting, weeding, hedge tidying and removal of agreed garden waste. Tell us about access, overgrowth and the areas to include so the scope reflects the garden’s condition.

Full document search service
A systematic search of the agreed areas of the property can help locate papers needed by the estate or family. We work to your brief, checking relevant drawers, cupboards, filing areas and stored papers before the associated contents are cleared. Tell us what you are looking for and who should receive any documents found.
